We’ve certainly been enjoying the cooler weather. FIshing has been very good, and enjoyable with the break in the heat. MDC will stock 81000 this month, and we’ve seen some really nice ones in the last few days….
The night crawler bite is back, and the usual Gulp and Powerbait combinations are working great.
Coming this week, we’ve received a LARGE shipment of BassSnapper jigs in all the good sizes and colors..we’ll be blowing them out. Also, we’ve got a large selection of hand tied jigs from Dana Lindsey… so check out the Lake Taneycomo colors.
Trout are fun to catch… get down here and enjoy yourself. You’ll be glad you did.

I have and been fishing Tanneycomo since the mid 60`s. This is definately the destination for parents to open the world of fishing to their children. The kids certainly won`t go away empty hooked. Hands on lessons, teaching patience, respect for the wild life, respect for the environment, family bonding , and just plain enjoyment of the outdoors. Scotty`s Dock is highly recommended as a starting place for families to gather and enjoy what Tanneycomo has to offer. Their knowlege of the lake and area will be most helpful for veterns and beginers alike. While fishing, you`ll undoubtedly see herons, eagles, buzzards, swallows, geese, ducks, and an occassional mink walking the shoreline. Nature at its closest. Catch and release or catch and enjoy, either way fun will be had by all and memories will be created.
