We saw a bunch of families enjoying Lake Taneycomo over the holiday. We had some pretty muddy water to deal with, Friday’s rain combined with no water generation, encouraged the creek stain to stay around all weekend. Those in boats though, were able to get out into clear water, and catch plenty of fish.
I have folks ask me everyday, when the best time to catch trout is, and I answer the same way, “anyday you want to go”.. and some think there’s a season to our trout..but it’s as good as it gets now, and will be the next few months. Make your plans to come down….. and catch some trout !!!!

I took my family fishing on Sunday Morning. The morning fog burned off quickly and everyone had a great time. The fish we caught went from the live-well to the frying pan.
As they say… give a man a fish and he will eat for a day…Teach a man to fish and teach his wife how to clean those fish!!! Only joking. Looking forward to some fall fishing on Tanneycomo. Always a treat to get out and enjoy nature… the Bite should be good and remember to handle your catch gentley if you are releasing them back for another day.
