We’ve goten off to a great start in May !! Fishing continues to be great at several areas on Lake Taneycomo. With less water running this week, we’re doing better on the smaller stuff. 1/16oz Olive/Ginger jigs, 1/64oz Trout Magnets in Bubble Gum and Orange/Chartruese and Buoyant Spoons 1/6 oz, in Red/Gold, Gold or Copper.

Orange Gulp paired with Yellow Gulp in the eggs has been the best seller, followed by Pink Gulp paired with White. We had a very good run on Nightcrawlers, and wax worms in the last two weeks as well.

Fishing from the Island to just above Cooper Creek has been good. We continue to do well in the area from 76 Bridge to Roark creek, fishing the Docks, Marinas and trees along the banks. We also had groups that were fishing the Powersite Dam area, and they reported nice stringers of fish.

No matter how you do it, remember when fishing, always be SAFE.
