We’ve enjoyed a good month of fishing. Fishing is particularlly good in the Middle lake right now, and it seems trolling is the one thing that’s bringing in some nice trophies. We’ve had two 18 lbers and one 20 in the last three weeks. Pictured here is Perry from Wisconsin with an 18.1# Brown he caught on Saturday. He was very proud, and should have been.
Lures are doing well right now, crankbaits in trout or crawfish patterns. Jigs that are hot are Black, Brown, and the good ole Olive and Tan. Powerbait colors are Orange/Yellow or Pink/White.. Nightcrawlers are getting really hot as well.

We’re heading to Spring Fishing Tackle Show next week, we’re hoping to stock up on the latest Falcon Rods for the year as well as see anything that might be new.
Don’t forget to check your boat for safety when you pull it out for the spring. Life Jackets, Fire Extinquishers, are very important. If needed have a buddy kind of look it over as if he’s inspecting it..sometimes 2 pair of eyes is better than one.
