We got back from our week off, and were met by lots of folks ready to fish. All the folks that went out Monday said they did well, despite the muddy water left from Saturday’s rain. Spoons, and spinners were working well. One group we had, did nothing but troll, with success.

Lake to be drawn down starting tomorrow…

Empire Electric notified us on Thursday that they will begin drawing the lake down at noon tomorrow, to replace the splashboards on Powersite Dam. Expectations are the repair will take all day on Wednesday and they can begin filling the lake up on Thursday.

Fall Weather is here… leaves about 35%

Starting to see a lot of leaves in the water… color is beginning to look good. Fishing was great over the Columbus Day weekend. Nice Rainbows and starting to get a few browns. I would have to say Nightcrawlers have really picked up in the last few days.
